Getting married in North Carolina is easy. Whether you reside in North Carolina or not you can obtain a marriage license as long as you are 18, show your social security card and a photo ID at any courthouse in North Carolina. There is a $60 fee, no blood tests and no waiting period. Most of the state’s county Register of Deeds offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 until 5:00 and accept marriage applications until 4:30. The Belle of Hot Springs is located in Madison County and the Register of Deeds Office will issue marriage licenses Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for a fee of $60. If you come to Hot Springs via Highway 25/70, you will pass the county offices on your left just past the Marshall Ingles Grocery Store
